Looks fine to me.
That new sienna-coloured pressure-treated wood sure looks pretty. This piece was about as strong as wet drywall, but pretty nonetheless.
Front-back deck
Directions aside, this was the start to the long process of building the back deck. On the front.
Skip the concrete truck
A couple bags of cement and some piles of sand and stone to finish the last piers. These couldn’t be done until the retaining wall was finished as they were in its backfill area.
Trying to line up the concrete sonotube piers for the deck. Kind of important to get this as close as possible as they go all the way up and tie into the roof!
