I wanted to do more shovelling anyway.
The windiest corner of the house happens to also be the master bedroom. On the advice of the neighbour with the spray foam company, we made sure this corner was well protected.
The finished octagonal roofing nightmare. There was supposed to be a small saddle framed in the valley, which may eventually have to be added, but for now seems to be channeling water away. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The first few rows of 7″ wide plank, oil-finished engineered hardwood are installed (by Jonny!), meeting up to the pine tongue and groove living room cathedral wall.

Dana and Amy made a Menard’s run (3 hrs each way) to pick up the exterior trim for the house. Long story short: the load shifted, they lost some stuff, and had to re-stack everything. The trip took about 14 hrs.
